The shower head does not offer an adjustable flow. It more or less comes out as a rain shower so it covers more body area at once. The shower head is large compared to most shower heads on the market. This is to be expected given the rain like action of the water flow. My wife would prefer something with more pulsating action but we had limited choices as there are only two Kohler models in polished brass or gold that will work with the regulator that I have in the wall. I did not feel like swapping everything out in the bathroom for nickel in which case I would have more choices. It seems everything is nickel these days in terms of bathroom fixtures.

The quality seems good. Installation is straight forward assuming that the regulator is already installed. I utilized teflon tape for both sides of the extension piece that connects the pipe in the wall to the shower head. This of course is necessary to prevent water leakage at the shower head and at the pipe.

The flow is strong enough for washing and rinsing hair although someone with lots of hair like my wife may need to be a bit more patient in terms of rinsing shampoo out of the hair.
