I bought this because A) I got free shipping with Prime, B) Winchester products are usually pretty good quality from my experience, and C) Weight/size combination for getting it up to the 2nd floor.

I'd say the only thing that bothers me about the safe so far is the quality of the shelves and rack on the inside. I can see a small noticeable bend of the top shelf once I have it loaded down with ammo/parts and the gun rack feels like it will fall over with a little nudge (The gun rack is free standing inside the safe, no anchors or connections to the wall or floor). It was easy to mount an aftermarket light and a digital humidity/temp gauge which gave it a nice touch. The door pockets are nice but not nearly as useful as the pictures may show. I expected them to have a larger capacity, I mainly use them for pistol mags and random parts.

Overall I'm happy with the safe as it's better than having them sit in the closet, and I feel comfortable leaving them locked up in the event of a fire or break-in. I do however plan on replacing this safe if I ever get more space on the first floor. It's great for an apartment or town home or someone with a small to medium size collection. If/when I buy a new safe, it would be because my collection has grown, I have more space for a larger safe, and my budget won't be as tight. If you have a tight budget, small to medium collection, and need it upstairs, I would certainly recommend this safe. It's a great entry level safe for under $1500 and I'd likely buy again if I had to repeat the scenario. This is just another example of you get what you pay for and I am happy with the purchase so far.
