Purchased this fixture and had electrician hang it so I can't comment on ease of install, but when this lights up you will be impressed. Etched glass with bubbles light up nicely and the halogen bulbs light up my dining room table beautifully. Uses 175 watts when lit, might think of changing to LED bulbs if possible to save $$$$, my kids never turn off a light! I LOVE THIS FIXTURE!
