Much safer and more accurate than standing wide stock on edge. The new multiple routing operation Horizontal Router Table makes tall auxiliary fences, multiple featherboards or jigs UNECESSARY. You can quickly and easily make mortise & tenon joinery, raised panels with vertical raised panel bits, moldings and picture frames. This benchtop table features micro adjustable bit height adjustments. One 1/16 of an inch per turn allows for very precise adjustments: (1/4 turn = 1/64", 1/2 turn = 1/32", 3/4 turn = 3/64"). The table is 24" wide x 20" deep x 25" height with a sturdy 3/4" thick MDF core, durable melamine surface and polyethylene plastic edges.The 3/4" thick MDF core with melamine surface extension fences, on both sides of the router plate, support long stock and give maximum stock support. The 3/8" thick, 11-3/4" x 11-1/2" router plate is held in routing position by sturdy aluminum extrusions, along with two locking knobs which safely secure the sliding router plate in position. Use with 3 HP routers or less. Raise or lower your router up to 2-1/8" below or 2-3/8" above the table. Includes 4 piece carbide-tippe Vertical Raised Panel Bit Set in wooden box. Overall, this is a nice, inexpensive table. I just finished setting it up, so I don't have a report on how well it works.

This product could benefit from revisions in a couple of areas, neither of which should have significant impact on the manufacturing costs or selling price.

The instruction/assembly manual is rather sparse. There are no illustrations on preparing the router mounting plate or suggestions specific to mounting major router brands such as Porter Cable or DeWalt. This is a critical task but they breeze through it in a single paragraph.

The mounting plate is held in place by 2 lock knobs and 2 hex bolts that ride in t-slots in a pair of aluminum columns. I found that the hex bolts would bind repeatedly when I attempted to raise and lower the mounting plate with the router mechanism. I replaced them with a pair of t-bolts that I modified to fit the narrower than standard t-slots. That took care of the binding and the assembly now runs smoothly when activated.

MLCS, revise your manual and have your Taiwanese manufacturers substitute t-bolts for the hex bolts.

When I have used the table for a number of different tasks, I will revise this review and comment on how well this table actually works.
